Seattle Concert (In-person and LIVE on Zoom) – Sunday March 5. The concert will be at 4:00PM, live at the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Seattle (LMLC) – 13047 Greenwood Ave N. Seattle, WA 98133 or you may choose to attend by Zoom. For those attending live, there will scrumptious noshes available by donation at the break. Tickets for both in-person and zoom are $15 online, and in-person tickets will be $20 at the door. Online sales have closed. Masks are required at this event.
The Lilla is proudly partnering with LMLC for this event. The church has a food bank that serves homeless people in the Greenwood neighborhood. In exchange for our use of the Sanctuary in the church, the Lilla is collecting food donations to support LMLC’s food bank. Your donation of food, which you may drop as you enter the church, is greatly appreciated. LMLC has provided a list of what the food bank needs. See the information below.
Thank you for your support of the Luther Memorial Little Free Pantry! Our pantry is available 24/7, Unlike other food pantries, our main focus is on providing nutritious and ready to eat items, focusing especially on those in our community who do not always have ways to cook food. But, we also know that people enjoy treats like Oreos and Rice Krispie bars too! In addition to food, our pantry provides some basic toiletry items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and individually wrapped toilet paper. The following items are the most needed at this current time:
Food:
- Mandarin oranges* (either cans or individual cups)
- Applesauce (either cups or the pouches)
- Peaches* (either cans or individual cups)
- Canned chicken
- Canned tuna
- Chili
- Beef jerky sticks
- Soup*
- Sardines
- Trail mix (individual packets)
- Nuts (individual packets)
- Granola bars
- Protein bars
- Shelf-stable milk cartons
- Individual bags of chips
- Pudding cups
- Raisins
- Rice Krispie treats
- Individual packets of Oreos
- Peanut butter crackers
- Cheese filled crackers
*If you provide canned items, please look for the ones with the pop-tops; many of the people who use our pantry do not always have access to can openers.
